On this episode, Dr. Angela Peters dives deep into her STEM journey. She discusses what sparked her love for science, her journey of pursuing her doctorate, her faith in God and knowing how to hear his voice. She also talks about the faith it took to lead her to where she is now as a Vice President of Research and Practice for InitiativeOne.
As people in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) she gives advice about how to make ourselves more marketable, how to have the confidence to persist in our field, and to remind ourselves that “We ARE ENOUGH!”

On this episode, we sat down with Benjamin Ibe on the ups and downs of his pursuit as a Doctor of Pharmacy. Benny opened up about his life growing up, his faith in God, his anxiety struggles, his passion for music, and even his experience getting kicked out of pharmacy school. We know God has called us to be MIGHTY people in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. God tells us to build ourselves up in our most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit. (Jude 1:20) Today, we pray to help build up our faith to do what God has called us to do, to have faith to become what God has called us to become. Jesus said in John 14:12 "Verily, verily I say unto you, He that beliveth on me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." For those that God is calling to any field in STEM know that God wants you to be great at it. He wants to do great things through you. He wants to use you to establish His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. When Jesus said greater works shall he do he was talking about US! Us who are belivers in Him. ANNNDDD He wasn't playing when He said it. We pray to help us have the faith that greater works shall we do. Continue to meditate on this Greater works SHALL I do! Greater works SHALL I do! Greater works SHALL I do!

Hey game changers!
We know sometimes it can be hard giving God a total yes as He directs our paths. Today, we sit down with Madison Irick as she discusses her pursuit of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Duke University.
She journeys through her initial intentions of attending medical school, taking the MCAT, and then experiencing a shift in her desires. She knew that God was calling her to a different area.

Identity is something that can be a struggle. We ask the questions: who am I? What is my purpose? What are my likes/dislikes? It can be easy to adopt the identity of others and the world around us. Today we uncover having your identity be rooted in Christ. When our identity is rooted in Christ, we identify with Him and people are then able to identify us as followers of Christ. When we go out and serve in our respective fields in science, technology, engineering, and math, others are then able to see Christ through us.

As our slogan says “we are graced to dominate STEM,” we understood that in order to dominate, we need God’s direction and help of the Holy Spirit. Also, being obedient to God’s word and instruction is vital as we are going on this journey. Today we discuss how disobedience will cost you your life both physically and spiritually. We give points of how to remain obedient, listen to the voice of God, and have discernment so we are not treading the wrong path. We hope you learn from this episode.
